Shopping for hardwood floors just got even easier! The Floormall network has recently gained another family member – FSCFloors.com, which was launched to provide updates and feature hardwood floors from various manufacturers that have been certified as sustainable by the Forest Stewardship Council, a global non-profit group that has been fighting to protect forests from depletion and irresponsible logging since 1993.

The site is meant to help both consumers and builders find green FSC flooring for affordable prices. This includes FSC eucalyptus flooring, a sustainable resource that has been gaining popularity in recent years due to the hardness and resistance to wear that flooring-grade eucalyptus possesses, as well as the incredible speed with which those trees grow.

Lyptus is a trademarked hybrid of two species of eucalyptus, that has been bred to grow quickly and produce high-quality wood to be used for furniture, wall sidings, floors and much more. However, it’s primarily been a pulping wood, not having the quality to be processed into planks or furniture parts.
